Big Things Ahead & Senior Session

Big things and big changes are coming to Christia Palizzi Photography. And so far? All of them good!

Since this is a photography blog, I'm going to share some of my favorites from my little sister's senior session! I can't believe she's a senior, graduating in June!

Beautiful Belly-Indianola Area Maternity Photographer

Maternity shots are one of my favorite things, I think. Your body is so different, for such a short time. And what pregnant woman isn't amazingly beautiful? Lacey is no exception! At 37 weeks, she braved the 100* heat, BEFORE the heat index, and let me capture her radiance. Paired with her 1 1/2 year old son Colt, we had a blast!

Awesome Friends

You know the type of friend or person that will do anything to help you? Watch your kids. Help you move. Go to midnight premiers of Harry Potter with you. That sort of thing? Yeah these are my people.
I have an assignment due, where I needed a group shot. My friends, the Hubbards, said they would do it! They still did it, even when the heat index was over ONE HUNDRED DEGREES!

Amazing Family Shoot!

We were rained out, early in the morning, but the afternoon had perfect lighting! I had an amazing time shooting the M family! We spent tons of time searching for Swiper, that sneaky fox, and looking for ducks. Little Marie kept me laughing! Such a doll! Thanks so much for allowing me to photograph your wonderful family! &hearts

Girly Goodness!

So as you know, or don't. I have three little boys. My oldest, Julian, will be 5 this month. Then there's Gabriel, he just turned 3 at the end of February. Bringing up the rear is Owen. He's 4 months as of last Friday (the 4th). It was my pleasure to do a newborn shot for my friend Emily and her brand new baby girl, Lydia. She was 8 days old here! I'm in love. It also gave me the opportunity to make some cute baby girl props!

Every once in a while, OK so it's really every day. I take pictures. I have THREE beautiful boys to use as subjects. Today it was my youngest boy's turn. Meet Owen.

He's ALMOST 4 months old! I can't believe it!

Meet Colton

Colton turned one mid January. He is suuuch a sweet boy, and loves his mama! I had so much fun taking his pictures. Look at those baby blues! SWOON!

Wow

A year ago I posted my intro, and much has changed.

I'm no longer the mother of two boys, but three. They still keep me busy, probably more so.

I'm still taking photography classes, and hoping to finish soon-ish. I'm toeing the waters of family photography now. I'd like to introduce you to my friend Atticus.

He turned the big 0-1 at the end of January. I took some pictures of him yesterday. His family is what I like to call my guinea pigs. They're totally willing to let me do shoots with them, hoping to get something worthwhile! Yesterday? It was a success!
